Start your career with an internship

Would you like to gain practical knowledge during your studies and support departments in their daily tasks? As an intern, you will not have to make coffee and instead will work with our experts from IT, HR, logistics and many other departments on their daily tasks. Get started and set the foundations for a successful start to your career!

How much time will I need for an internship?

You should plan on at least 3–6 months.

In which departments can I complete an internship at Hellmann?

Interns are sought after regularly in many different departments. Have a look at our job portal to see which positions are being advertised now.

Can I only do mandatory internships?

The internship can be completed voluntarily or within the framework of your university studies. 

Will I receive compensation during the internship?

All internships that take place during or after your study program are paid. Generally, students in the bachelor’s program receive EUR 650 per month and students in the master’s program receive EUR 900 per month. If you can verify that you have your own apartment, we will also support you with a rent subsidy of EUR 150.

How do I know if a position is still open?

You can apply for open internship positions at any time. As long as a position is still in our online portal, it has not been filled yet.

Can I write my final thesis later at Hellmann?

Depending on the department, it is possible to write a final thesis at Hellmann.

At which locations are internships offered?

Most internships are offered for our main location in Osnabrück. However, we are always looking for interns to support our branches throughout Germany, for example in Hamburg or Neu Isenburg. Which requirements do I have to meet to work as a working student?

You must be enrolled at a college or university and have not completed your final thesis yet.

How many hours a week should I plan for a working-student job?

This depends on the department. We would recommend approx. 10–20 hours so you can work in the day-to-day business. 

Is there an option to work more than 20 hours a week?

If feasible for the department, there is an option to work full time during the semester breaks.

How do I know if a position is still open?

You can apply for open working-student jobs at any time. As long as the jobs are posted online, the jobs have not been filled yet.
