We are seeking a highly ambitious and technically skilled System Specialist (m/f/d) to oversee and manage our newly acquired external SaaS system for 3PL order management and 4PL Control Tower operations in Air and Seafreight. As we venture into this new business model, the System Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the relationship with the vendor, prioritizing change requests, configuring the system, training customers and users, providing 2nd-level support, and driving the system's ramp-up phase to full operational capability.

» Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive the system's ramp-up phase , onboard the first customers globally while ensuring a smooth transition to the new business model and capabilities.
  • Configure and maintain the external system to meet the company's operational needs and standards. Be the driver for system standardization across various customer businesses.
  • Serve as the point of contact for system-related queries, providing timely and effective 2nd-level support.
  • Manage system updates and maintenance schedules to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, test and rollout change requests for the external system.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for both customers and internal users to ensure proficient system use.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the system with existing company master data, processes, and workflows.
 

» Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with a track record of successful system implementations and user training, and continuous maintenance and support.
  • Proven experience in system management, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Strong understanding of 3PL and 4PL operations, particularly in Airfreight and Seafreight.
  • Technical proficiency in external system configurations and support as well as analytical skills to monitor and track various system related KPIs.
  • Experience with system integrations via EDI, API and documenting the requirements from all parties.
  • Excellent training and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
