The key components of the solution included seamless Airfreight operation and Door-to-Door Service from the supplier in the United States to the manufacturing site Maharashtra, India.

Understanding the critical nature of pharmaceutical exports, a temperature-controlled solution was implemented, maintaining a range of 2-8°C throughout the entire journey. The team validated the temperature control container solution by embedding temperature loggers for continuous monitoring. Before the shipment, a temperature mapping was performed to identify possible excursion points, allowing for effective risk mitigation. In case of temperature excursion our 24/7 control tower could be implemented to assist.

The solution also featured customs clearance, FDA export requirements, and India's import clearance processes. The team also ensured that all handling procedures adhered to Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

Throughout the journey, Hellmann used SmartAir! 5G tracking loggers to ensure the integrity of the API. These loggers allowed the teams and the client to track the logistics process end-to-end in real-time, ensuring the products were where they should be and within the required temperature range.

The API was delivered safely and on time to the manufacturing site, and the temperature-controlled containers were returned to a designated depot in India.
