Delivering Smiles: Hellmann Spain is logistics partner for Fundación Crecer Jugando

The "One toy, one illusion" campaign, led by the Fundación Crecer Jugando (translates to “Play to Grow Foundation”) , is a source of joy for thousands of children. This initiative not only provides fun but also fosters new connections and learning opportunities among children. The campaign specifically targets families facing challenges in balancing work and family life during the summer season.

For parents with children, the summer school holidays can be a complex balancing act. Grandparents, camps, and summer schools often provide relief and growth opportunities. For families with difficult financial background, a summer school in Valencia was established, benefiting 40 children from Torrefiel neighborhood in Valencia. These children enjoyed many weeks of recreational activities, sports, and enriching tours, courtesy of dedicated technicians and volunteers. To cap off this memorable experience, the Fundación Crecer Jugando generously donated educational toys, creating precious memories and smiles for these children.

Hellmann Spain takes pride in being the logistics partner chosen by the Foundation, with their selection based on the principles of trust, teamwork, and shared goals. At the Hellmann logistics center in Beniparrrell, Valencia, the most crucial campaign of the year, "One Toy, One Illusion," is being managed. This facility receives, sorts, and prepares thousands of toys from around the world for shipping to various destinations. The process begins a year in advance, involving the review and selection of projects from global NGOs. These projects often target challenging regions like Syria, Jordan, Colombia, or Benin. Hellmann, as a reliable partner, plays a vital role in ensuring precise logistics management and providing solutions to overcome obstacles, so the Foundation can focus on its mission of bringing joy to as many children as possible.

Over the years, this campaign has distributed nearly 8 million toys, benefiting over 10 million children. With each delivery, the commitment to creating a better future for the youngest generation is reaffirmed.
