Inspiring Future Logistics Leaders: Hellmann Celebrates Take Your Child to Work Day Across the US
This year’s Take Your Child to Work Day was one to remember! Across our US branches, Hellmann welcomed over 70 children to experience the world of logistics through hands-on activities, team-led tours, and unforgettable experiences.
At our Americas headquarters in Miami, kids got a front-row seat to logistics in action - literally, on a train ride through the location!
The kids enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at how logistics keeps the world moving.
From warehouse walks to interactive learning stations, the day was designed to spark curiosity while having fun along the way. They also received participation certificates, fun gifts, and plenty of delicious treats to keep their energy high throughout the day.
At our Newark branch, Field Sales Account Executive Vanessa Mendoza-Barahona shared, “The event was a great success! The children were very engaged throughout, and it was wonderful to see their enthusiasm. They really enjoyed the experience and are already looking forward to participating again next year!”
At Hellmann Chicago, Airfreight Export Coordinator Jennifer Castro reflected,
“Bring Your Kids to Work Day was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to connect and have fun together. The day was a great success, and we're already anticipating another memorable event next year.”
Lisa Smith, Director of Business Development – Road Freight, shared: “The kids assembled and labeled boxes, created BOLs and supporting documents, and completed the event by placing their boxes on pallets in the warehouse. It was a tremendous success, culminating in a fun graduation ceremony to celebrate their hard work.”
Throughout the country, kids also participated in warehouse walking tours, giving them a firsthand look into the exciting world of logistics—and maybe even sparking an interest in future careers with Hellmann.
We’re proud to continue nurturing the next generation with curiosity, connection, and care. Here's to another successful year—and to making next year’s edition even bigger and better!
