Our People take Center Stage: Hellmann Makes a Strong Impression at transport logistic 2025 in Munich
A statement across 300 square meters: At transport logistic 2025, Hellmann made a bold impression with an open, modern booth in Hall B2, Stand 201/302 – impossible to overlook. A standout feature was the circular LED screen suspended above the center of the booth. Unlike traditional trade show presentations, the spotlight wasn’t on products or services, but on the people who make Hellmann what it is.
At the heart of it all was our core value: “Relationship matters.”
This guiding principle shaped every format, conversation, and interaction at the event – and it resonated deeply with customers, partners, and employees alike.
Setting new standards for a global industry
From June 2 to 5, 2025, transport logistic in Munich brought together the entire logistics world – and set several records in the process:
2,722 exhibitors from 73 countries and over 77,000 visitors from more than 130 nations made the event the largest of its kind worldwide.
Across a total area of 150,000 m², key challenges such as digitalization, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and multimodal logistics solutions took center stage.
An international presence with heart and passion
Hellmann was represented by an energetic booth team, supported by numerous international colleagues from Product Management, Sales, and HR. At the center of it all was the Hellmann management team – including CEO Jens Drewes, who shared valuable insights into the company’s strategy and values across multiple formats.
"Transport logistic is more than just a networking event – it’s a space for real exchange and fresh impulses around the major topics of our time: from digitalization and artificial intelligence to sustainability. In Munich, the focus is on what drives and shapes the logistics industry and the economy of tomorrow."
– Jens Drewes, CEO Hellmann Worldwide Logistics
A stage for debates – powerful voices on the present and future of logistics
Among the key formats at transport logistic 2025 were once again the popular Sofa Talks in collaboration with DVZ – Deutsche Verkehrs-Zeitung. These interactive talks over two days drew a great deal of attention.
On Tuesday, June 3, Hellmann CEO Jens Drewes took a seat on the Red Sofa. The conversation with DVZ focused on the company’s strategic direction: How is logistics evolving in a world that is increasingly connected, complex, and volatile? And what role does attitude play – toward employees, customers, and global challenges?
The following day featured the Blue Sofa with a forward-looking panel on the role of digital innovation in logistics. On the panel: Julian Kakarott (Digital Hub Logistics Hamburg), Simone Lode (HHLA Next), and Dominik Schindler, Head of Innovation at Hellmann. They discussed how technology sets the pace – from platform solutions to AI – and what kind of innovation culture companies need to remain future-proof.
Jonathan Adeoye, COO Road at Hellmann, also contributed his perspective – particularly during the VR panel on e-mobility in Hall A3. He emphasized the significance of alternative propulsion systems and the need to align sustainability with economic performance.
New perspectives in changing times: Middle Corridor Insights
Our exclusive side event “Bridging East and West – Middle Corridor Insights” took place on Tuesday in conference room A22, bringing together experts from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, China, Austria, and Germany.
Stefan Borggreve (COO Road, Rail & CEP) and Chen Si Hellmann (Head of Rail Solutions International) joined representatives from ADY Express, KTZ Express, Kazmortransflot, ÖBB Holding, Pasifik Eurasia, and Henan Zhongyuan Group to discuss the geopolitical and economic significance of alternative trade routes between Asia and Europe.
Looking Beyond Logistics: Inspiration from Elite Sports
In addition to core logistics topics, Hellmann offered fresh inspiration through two unique talk formats that purposefully broadened the perspective.
On Tuesday afternoon, the session “Success is a Matter of Mindset” focused on the psychological aspects of high performance. Olympic champion Andreas Kuffner, a member of the legendary German eight rowing team, joined Jens Drewes (CEO, Hellmann) and Sven Eisfeld (Managing Director, Hellmann Germany) to discuss mental strength, goal orientation, and team spirit — traits that make a decisive difference in both elite sports and effective corporate leadership.
On Wednesday, another highlight followed: “Pro Sports Behind the Scenes”. Sven Eisfeld hosted a discussion with Sky sports presenter Michael Leopold, focusing on the parallels between professional sports and the logistics industry. Authenticity emerged as a key factor in successful leadership. A good coach or leader makes use of storytelling, nonverbal communication, self-reflection, and composure – and should continuously develop these skills.
Both talks were very well received by the audience and emphasized once again: Successful logistics is about more than transport services and smart technology – it’s about mindset, focus, and strong teams.
Evenings with added value: Music, conversation, and real connections
On both evenings starting at 6:00 p.m., the Hellmann booth transformed into a lounge:
With DJ Neils, saxophonist Roman, and singer Shary, guests, colleagues, and partners rounded off their trade fair days with music, drinks, and conversations. It was a relaxed setting in which the week's motto came to life in a special way: “Relationship matters.”
Conclusion: Moving into the Future with Vision and Values
Transport logistic 2025 was more than just a networking event – it was a platform for fresh ideas, meaningful dialogue, and shared visions. Hellmann positioned itself as a reliable partner in a dynamic world – with an open booth, a clear set of values, and a strong international team.
"For us, the trade fair was much more than a presentation space – it was a place for genuine encounters. The personal exchange, the strong international presence, and the many inspiring conversations showed how important relationships are in our industry. That’s exactly what our motto ‘Relationship matters’ stands for – and we truly lived that in Munich."
– Sven Eisfeld, Managing Director Hellmann Germany
We thank all visitors, conversation partners, and contributors – and look forward to continued exchange.
