ReBuild Ukraine 2025: Hellmann Strengthens Its Role in Supporting Ukraine’s Reconstruction

News

ReBuild Ukraine 2025 brought an exceptional level of international attention to Warsaw this November. With 762 exhibitors from 33 countries, 33 national pavilions, 160 Ukrainian municipalities and more than 6,000 visitors, the exhibition once again proved to be one of the most relevant platforms for Ukraine’s reconstruction and long-term development. Since its launch in 2022, the event has grown steadily in scale and significance and Hellmann has been part of it from the very beginning.

Being present for the fourth year in a row underlines Hellmann’s clear commitment to the country. Roland Schueller, Director Business Development for the East Europe Region, who has been working with Ukraine since the 1990s and has accompanied the fair since its very first edition, describes the relevance of this continuity:

“ReBuild Ukraine is more than an exhibition for us. Hellmann stands with Ukraine, and we support the reconstruction not from the sidelines but as an active partner. After four years, it has become very clear how crucial reliable logistics are for real projects.”

This year’s edition showed a noticeable shift toward concrete business discussions. At Stand 1-D1, colleagues from Hellmann East Europe, Poland and Ukraine held significantly more targeted conversations than in previous years. Many visitors arrived with specific questions regarding road freight and groupage connections between Ukraine and Europe, logistics support for renewable energy projects or tailored transport insurance solutions, including coverage for political and war-related risks. Interest was higher, appointments were more focused and spontaneous contacts more substantial. For the team, it also became clearer who is actively shaping reconstruction projects and where real business opportunities are emerging.

Hellmann Stand Rebuild Ukraine 2025

At the same time, ReBuild Ukraine remains an important platform for information, orientation and networking. A considerable number of exhibitors and visitors used the event to gain an overview of current developments, meet municipalities and organisations for the first time or explore potential areas of cooperation. Not everyone arrived with a defined project in hand — for many, the value lies in the exchange itself and in understanding what the reconstruction landscape currently looks like.

Reflecting on this year’s dynamics, Roland Schueller notes the fair’s evolution:

“2025 showed how the event continues to mature. Alongside concrete business opportunities, it remains a central meeting point for everyone engaged in Ukraine’s recovery — whether they are already involved or still looking for the right place to start. We are pleased that we can contribute with our experience and our network.”

With established local teams in Kyiv and Odesa and a global network spanning 57 countries, Hellmann will continue to support partners and customers as the reconstruction progresses. The next ReBuild Ukraine is scheduled for 12–13 November 2026 again at Expo XXI in Warsaw.
