Hellmann opens new branch in Toruń, Poland

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Poland has opened a new branch in Toruń. The company is thus investing further in the strategic expansion of its groupage network in Poland, where up to 10,000 pallets are transported every day. The new 2,500 m2 warehouse is strategically located in the recently completed Pannatoni Park II, right next to the A1 freeway interchange in Lubicz. With the opening of its tenth own distribution branch in Poland, Hellmann is strengthening its local presence and at the same time consolidating its international network.

Over the past ten years, Poland has become an increasingly important strategic market for the global full-service provider. To enable sustainable growth, Hellmann has consistently invested in expanding its infrastructure, opening new branches and expanding capacity at existing locations. As a result, Hellmann has more than doubled the number of Polish branches and more than trebled the volume since 2012. Today, the company offers the entire product range in Poland, from sea and air freight to contract logistics and customs solutions to national and international groupage and cargo transport. In particular, a close-knit liner network with daily round-trips has been established between the German and Polish country organizations.

"Together with our customers, we want to continue to grow in the future and intensify our general cargo network between Germany and Poland in particular. In doing so, we are responding to the increased demand in the area of international road transport and setting the course for further successful strategic development of our activities in Poland and Europe," says Jens Tarnowski, Regional CEO West Europe, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.

"With the opening of the new distribution branch, we are further expanding our infrastructure in Poland and thus ensuring sufficient capacity for our constantly growing transport volume," adds Jacek Przybyłowski, Managing Director of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Poland.
