Hellmann Poland opens new warehouse in Strykow

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is opening a new warehouse in Strykow, Poland, effectively doubling its handling capacity in this strategically critical location. As one of a total of 21 branches in Poland, the Hellmann site located in the center of Poland has steadily grown in recent years. By moving into the new warehouse, which covers an area of around 6,000 qm, Hellmann is responding to increased demand, particularly in the area of international road transport, setting the course for the further strategic development of its activities in Poland and the entire European region.

Hellmann, as a global full-service logistics provider, has primarily been offering national and international full and groupage transports at the Strykow location for the past 14 years but is also active in the areas of customs solutions as well as sea and air freight. Due to its strategically favorable location at the intersection of the A1 and A2 freeways and the operation of a night transshipment terminal, the Strykow branch plays a crucial role in Hellmann Poland’s seamless logistics operations. In particular, the new location is expected to play a pivotal role in business expansion with potential new customers as well as existing customers from the beverage, electrical and chemical sectors in the coming years.

"The Polish market is of great strategic importance to us and the investment in the new site in Strykow is a central component of our growth strategy in Western and Eastern Europe. With the expansion of capacities, we are creating the prerequisites for offering first-class service quality and growing further. At the same time, we are giving our customers better access to domestic and foreign markets," says Joerg Herwig, Chief Operating Officer Road & Rail, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.

"We are pleased to have found a new location in Strykow, which will also accommodate our growth track in the future. Together with our customers, we want to continue to build on the success of recent years and specifically expand our products and services in the area of standard and premium deliveries," says Piotr Kowalik, Sales Manager at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Poland.
