Hellmann Chile successfully coordinated the transportation of a batch of machinery units from India to Chile, enhancing our relationship with our valued client Salinas y Fabres. The client is recognized as a leader in the machinery sector due to its comprehensive product range. Its extensive network, spanning 43 branches from Iquique to Punta Arenas and over 2,000 employees. 

The intricate task of transporting five machinery units from India to Chile consisted of coordination and expertise from Hellmann Chile’s team. Despite facing competition, strict timelines, and logistical complexities, our innovative approach set us apart, ensuring the smooth transfer of these units to their destination.

These machines, known for their size and significance, form an integral part of Chile's mining and industrial projects. The challenge lay in ensuring a reliable and secure shipment within a constrained time, with a singular shipment date consisting of only one vessel departure a month. 

The cargo encompassed a total volume of 731,816 cubic meters with 134 tons. 

Leveraging our global network, we collaborated with our dedicated project team in India and together strategically coordinated the shipment. Hellmann Chile prepared a creative solution to align the shipment date with the vessel's departure, ensuring a seamless process.  

This intricate operation followed the Roll in - Roll out approach FOB (Free on Board) from Mumbai, India.
